People usually find us easily because we’re right near Panchwati Colony on Kalwar Road. The office at 8A Anandpuri is where we spend most of our daylight hours. It isn't a fancy place, just a regular spot with some chairs and a lot of registers on the desks. We deal with the cement bags coming in and going out to various sites around Jhotwara. Jaipur gets really hot in the summer, so the fan is always running at full speed, though it mostly just moves the warm air around. The floor is often a bit gritty from the dust outside. We’ve got a few guys here who handle the loading and unloading of the trucks. Sometimes the transport gets delayed in heavy traffic, which happens a lot on this side of town. We just wait it out and have some tea from the stall nearby while the drivers catch their breath. Most of our day is spent talking to local contractors or checking the stock levels in the back. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where the actual work happens. People drop by to ask about prices or check if their delivery is finally on the way. We try to keep things moving so nobody is left waiting too long at their construction site. It’s a straightforward job and we like the routine of it here in this part of Jaipur.
