Our office is at 132 Aatish Market, which is inside the Tripolia Bazaar area. If you’ve ever walked through the bazaar, you know how busy and crowded it can get with all the shops and shoppers. Jivan Nagji & Co. (India) Pvt. Ltd. has been tucked away in this market for a very long time. It’s a traditional business space with high ceilings and old-fashioned desks. We don't really have a lot of modern bells and whistles here. We mainly handle trading and distribution of goods. The stairs up to our unit are quite narrow, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. Working in Tripolia Bazaar means you are right in the middle of all the action in the city. You hear the sounds of the market all day long. We have customers who have been dealing with us for several generations now. It is more about those long-term relationships than anything else. We don't spend time on fancy brochures or flashy advertisements. We just focus on the daily tasks of moving goods and keeping our records straight in our ledgers. It’s a steady way of life. Some days are more hectic than others, especially when a big shipment arrives and we have to squeeze everything into our space. We just keep going, one day at a time, in this old market.
