Jitendra Shari & Co

Our office is up on the second floor of Doongri House in Indira Bazar. It’s right near the main road, so there’s always a lot of activity outside. Jitendra Shari & Co has been at 361 for quite some time. Climbing the stairs every day keeps us fit, I suppose. The market downstairs is always humming with people buying and selling all sorts of things. Up here, it’s a bit different. We deal with the side of business that isn’t as loud—the records and the compliance stuff. It’s a lot of sitting and focusing. The office itself is quite functional. We’ve got shelves lining the walls filled with folders from years back. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes, but we know where everything is. We work with a lot of the traders from the bazaar below. They drop by when they have a spare moment to discuss their accounts. It’s a very hands-on way of doing things. We don't have fancy brochures or a marketing team. We just rely on doing a decent job so people come back next year. Sometimes the dust from the street gets in, but we just wipe it off and keep going. It’s a busy, honest kind of place to work. We like being in the heart of the city where everything is happening. Even when it is loud outside, we just keep our heads down and get the work finished.
