Our office is at Ram Kutir, right on Sirsi Road here in Jaipur. The area is Khatipura, and specifically the Panchevala part of it. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the full name, Jeypore 1727 Infradesign Llp, but that is what is on our sign. We are not located in one of those huge glass towers you see in the city center. Instead, we have a more grounded setup at this address. It feels more like a home than a stiff office, which we actually prefer. Sirsi Road is always busy with people going about their lives, so there is a lot of energy outside. Inside, we just focus on the design and infrastructure work we have on our desks. Sometimes the tea man comes by and that is the highlight of the afternoon. We do not spend much time on fancy marketing talk or anything like that. We just try to get the designs right and keep our clients happy without making a big fuss about it. Being in 302012 Jaipur means we are close enough to everything but still have our own little corner. It is a local business run by local people who know the streets of Khatipura well. We have piles of papers and drawings all over the place, and that is just how we work. It’s a real place where real work happens every single day.
