JEWEL FIELDS

JEWEL FIELDS is located at 193 Milap Nagar, which is right across from the Sanghi Farm on Tonk Road. It’s a nice enough spot, though the traffic on Tonk Road can be a bit much sometimes. Our building is a regular size, and inside we have set up everything for our jewelry work. We have some glass cases where we put out a few pieces, but a lot of the work happens at the benches in the back. It’s a mix of fine tools and a bit of a mess with all the sketches and scraps of metal. We don't try to look like those big, fancy stores in the malls. It’s more of a local workshop feel. We have some comfortable chairs for people to sit in while we talk about what they want. The view of the farm across the way is a nice change from the usual city buildings. We spend a lot of time cleaning and polishing, so there is always a bit of a shine on the surfaces. It’s mostly a small team of us here. We handle everything ourselves, from the initial ideas to the final pieces. Sometimes the lights are a bit too bright, but we need that to see the small details. We’ve been here in Milap Nagar for quite a while now and we like the pace of the neighborhood. It’s not too rushed, which is good when you’re trying to focus on something delicate. Just a normal day of work for us.
