Jay Shree Ram Architect

Our office is right across from the Shastri Nagar Police Station in Indra Verma Colony. Jay Shree Ram Architect is a small practice where we focus on the technical side of building. We spend most of our time at Nand Bhavan, A-15, working on blueprints and dealing with the city paperwork. Designing a house is a lot of back and forth. People come in with an idea, and we have to figure out if it's actually possible to build it that way. We do a lot of residential plans for people here in Shastri Nagar and the nearby areas. It’s not a flashy job. There’s a lot of staring at computer screens and checking local regulations to make sure everything is legal. We try to keep our designs simple so they aren't too expensive to actually build. We’ve seen too many plans that look great on paper but cost way too much once the bricks and cement start arriving at the site. We prefer to be realistic from the start. Our office is a bit cluttered with rolls of paper and old files, but we know where everything is. We aren't a big firm with layers of management or fancy titles. You just talk directly to us. We’ve been at this for a while and we understand that a house is probably the biggest thing a person will ever build, so we try our best to get the details right.
