Jain Shah & Co is just our small office here at 248 Johari Bazar Haldio Ka Raste. If you know this part of the city, you know how crowded it gets with all the shoppers and the bikes squeezing through the narrow lanes. We’ve been sitting in this same spot for a long time now. The building is old and sometimes the stairs feel a bit steep after a long day of work. We aren't really doing anything flashy here. Usually, the morning starts with opening up the shutters and dusting off the desks before the heat starts to build up outside. Haldio Ka Raste has its own rhythm, and we are just a part of that daily buzz. Most people who come by are locals who know the area well. It’s a lot of paperwork and talking to folks who drop in. Sometimes it gets quite loud outside with the street vendors calling out, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We keep the fans running and just get through the pile of tasks on the table. There isn't a big team or anything, just a few of us making sure everything is in order. It’s a plain place with simple furniture, nothing like those modern offices you see in the newer parts of town. We just go by the name Jain Shah & Co and this address has been our home for as long as I can remember. It is what it is.
