Our place is right in the middle of Chandpole Bazar, at 1674 Jailal Munshi Lane. If you know the bazar, you know how crowded it gets, especially in the afternoons. The lane is a bit narrow, so it is usually better to walk in than try to drive a big car all the way to the door. We have been in this spot for quite some time. It’s an old building, but it has a lot of character and history. You can hear the sounds of the market all day long, people shouting and scooters zooming past. Inside the office, it is a different world. We keep it organized with stacks of ledgers and documents everywhere. It is a family-run kind of feeling here. We usually have the fan going and someone is always making tea in the back. Clients come in and sit on the old wooden chairs while we talk through things. There is no air conditioning in the hallway, so it gets hot in the summer, but we don't mind much. We know all the shopkeepers nearby. It is a busy life in Jailal Munshi Lane, but we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do. We just keep our heads down and handle the accounts and files as they come. It’s honest work in a very old part of the city.
