You can find Jai Stone Group at H-37 on Road No. - 2D in the Riico Industrial Area out in Bindayaka. It’s a dusty place because of all the stone cutting we do. We have slabs of stone stacked everywhere, so you have to be careful where you walk. We handle mostly local stones, getting them ready for builders or people working on their houses. The saws we use are big and loud, and they run for most of the day. We’ve been based in Bindayaka for quite a while now. The team here knows how to handle the heavy lifting, though it’s tough on the back. We don't have a big marketing budget or a shiny website. Most of our orders come from people who drive into the industrial area and see our yard. We try to be fair with our prices and just get the job done. Sometimes the water supply for the cutters gives us trouble, but we have a backup tank. It’s a simple operation. We load the trucks in the morning and spend the rest of the time cutting and polishing. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoon, so we take our breaks in the shade of the office shed. It’s a lot of physical work, but we’re used to it. We just focus on the stone and making sure the cuts are straight. We often have a bit of a laugh during our break times, which makes the hard work easier.
