Jai Biotech & Research Centre

Jai Biotech & Research Centre is tucked away near Church Road and Baba Harish Chandra Marg in the Chandpole Bazar area. We’ve been at this 1332 address for a bit now, focusing on biotech work which sounds more complicated than it actually feels day-to-day. It’s mostly about testing, looking at samples, and doing research that helps with agricultural or biological questions. The lab isn't a massive facility like you see in movies, but we have the equipment we need to get our work done properly. Being in Chandpole Bazar means it’s always crowded outside, so the quiet inside the centre is a nice change of pace. We have a small team of people who actually know what they are doing with the microscopes and the vials. It’s a lot of sitting and observing, then writing down what we find. We don't really sell products to the general public in a traditional way, so we don't get a ton of random walk-ins. Mostly it’s people who have specific technical needs or are part of the local research community. The building is old, like most things in this part of town, but we keep our workspace clean for the science stuff. It’s just a place where we try to understand how things grow and react on a small level. It is quiet work but someone has to do the studying for the community.
