J. R. Enterprises

Our place is right in the middle of the bustle at Johari Bazar. If you know Haldiyon Ka Rasta, you know it’s always crowded and there’s always something happening. J. R. Enterprises is located at number 201, which isn't the biggest spot, but it fits everything we need. Most of the time, the air is thick with the smell of the market and the noise of people haggling outside. We spend our days surrounded by boxes and paperwork, trying to keep track of everything that comes in and goes out. It gets pretty hot in the summers, so we usually have a fan going full blast, though it doesn't always help much. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation; we’re just a small enterprise doing our bit in the local market. There’s no fancy lobby or receptionist here. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free. Sometimes we lose a pen or a notebook and spend ten minutes looking for it, which is just how things go when you’re busy. We deal with a lot of different people every day, and that’s probably the best part of being in this location. The work is mostly manual and involves a lot of checking lists and making sure the numbers match up. We don’t have any grand statements to make. We just keep the doors open and get through the pile of work that’s sitting on the table every morning.
