Our office is over at number 41 on Satya Path. It’s a decent street, not too loud, which helps when we’re trying to concentrate on our work at Investa. We aren’t a massive firm with hundreds of employees; we are just a small group of people who know how to handle the tasks in front of us. The office has a few desks, some computers that have seen better days, and a lot of notebooks scattered around. We spend most of our time looking at numbers or talking through different ideas. It’s quiet work for the most part. Sometimes a person will stop by for a chat, and we’ll sit down with them and go over things without any rush. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to act like we know everything. We just do the job. The light in the office is nice in the mornings, and we usually have some music playing softly in the background to keep the mood relaxed. There’s a tea stall not far from here where we usually get our mid-day break. It’s a routine that works for us. We’ve been on Satya Path long enough that the local vendors recognize us. We like the consistency of it all. It’s not about being the most famous place in town; it’s about being here every day and doing what we said we’d do. We just try to be reliable enough for the people who trust us.
