Our project office for Ijm (India) Infrastructure Ltd is out in Dausa, Rajasthan. You can find us right opposite the Navodaya Bidyalaya. It’s a pretty easy landmark to spot. Working in Rajasthan has its own set of challenges, especially with the heat, but we’ve settled in well. The office is really just a place for us to coordinate our local projects. It’s not a fancy headquarters with polished floors. It’s more of a boots-on-the-ground kind of place. We have our maps and our schedules pinned to the walls. We’re mostly busy with the day-to-day operations of infrastructure work. Being across from a school means it gets a bit lively when the kids are coming and going, but we don't mind the noise. It reminds us we’re part of the local town. Ijm (India) Infrastructure Ltd has a lot of moving parts, and this office is one of them. We don’t spend much time on fancy letters or marketing. We’d rather just get the tasks finished. The team here is a mix of people who know the area well. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of our deadlines. It’s a basic setup, but it’s exactly what we need to get through the week. Dausa is a good place to be based for what we do. It feels real and grounded.
