Hiphopsthaan Dance Studio

Our studio is located in Vidhyadhar Nagar. It’s basically just a large room with some mirrors we put up a few years ago. The floor is a bit scuffed from all the shoes, but that’s how a dance place should look. We play a lot of loud music, mostly hip hop, which is why we picked this spot where the neighbors don't mind too much. Some days the speakers act up and we have to fiddle with the wires to get them working again. The kids from around the area come in after school. It’s a simple setup at Hiphopsthaan. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or anything like that. Just a bench where people can leave their bags and water bottles. It gets really warm during the afternoon classes, so we keep the windows open. The street outside is usually quiet. We spend most of our time trying to figure out new moves or just letting people practice their own style. It isn't about being perfect; it's just about having a place to move. We’ve been in Vidhyadhar Nagar for a bit now and most people know the sound of the bass coming from our windows. We just open the doors and let whoever wants to dance come inside. It is a basic space for anyone who likes the music. We aren't a big chain. Just a local studio for kids who want to learn.
