Hindustan Zinc Ltd.

We’ve been here at 62, Asind Nagar in Jaipur for a while now. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when the sun is already starting to heat up the walls. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get the work done and handle the day-to-day things for Hindustan Zinc Ltd. Sometimes the tea lady comes by a bit late, but we manage. People stop by often with questions about the projects or just to drop off papers. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic, but inside we just focus on the computer screens and the files stacked on the desks. We spend a lot of time on the phone here. It’s mostly just us trying to keep things organized. Jaipur is a fast city, but in this corner of Asind Nagar, things feel a bit more steady. We have a few desks, some old fans that hum all day, and plenty of paperwork that never seems to end. If you’re looking for us, we’re tucked away in the residential part, so it’s not like a big glass building you’d see downtown. It’s just a practical setup for the staff to coordinate what needs doing across the state. Sometimes the internet acts up, but that’s just how it goes. We drink a lot of chai and keep moving through the schedules. It’s a simple life here, just working and making sure the records are straight before we head home for the evening.
