Hindustan Special Tapes

Hindustan Special Tapes is tucked away behind Radhe Bakers on Murlipura Scheme Road. If you find the bakery, you are basically there at Shiv Nagar-2. We work with all kinds of tapes—industrial ones, mostly. It is a sticky business, literally. There are rolls of tape piled up everywhere in the shop. We cut them to different sizes depending on what someone needs. Some tapes are for heat, some for packing, some for electrical work. It gets a bit confusing if you are not used to it. The smell of adhesive is something you eventually stop noticing after a few years. We started small and stayed that way. It is easier to manage things when you know every corner of the shop. The location is okay, though the road gets crowded during the evening rush. Sometimes people stop by looking for the bakery and end up asking us what we do. We tell them we just make tape. It is a simple product, but everyone needs it for something. We do not have a fancy website or a big marketing plan. We just answer the phone and help the people who call. The machines make a humming noise all day. It has become a familiar sound. We just keep going, day after day, making sure the rolls are cut straight and the orders are ready for pickup. It is just a regular life here.
