Automobile Nagar is a busy place, and we are right in the middle of it at number 41295. At Hind Radiator & Trading Co, the day usually starts with a truck backing up and someone shouting about a leak. We deal with radiators all day long. It’s a lot of copper, brass, and aluminum stacked up in the corners. The air always smells a bit like coolant and old metal. We’ve been at this spot for a long time, watching the street get more crowded every year. Sometimes a driver comes in looking stressed because his engine is overheating in the middle of a delivery. We understand that. We just take the radiator apart, find the hole, and get to work. It’s not glamorous, and the shop gets dusty from the road traffic outside. My desk is covered in old invoices and parts catalogs that we rarely look at because we know the inventory by heart. We don’t have a big team, just a few guys who know their way around a torch. We try to keep things honest. If something can be fixed, we fix it. If it’s junk, we tell the customer straight. That’s the only way to stay in business around here. The sun beats down on the roof in the afternoon, making the workshop feel like an oven, but we keep going until the last job is finished and the gate is locked.
