This is the Jaipur branch for Hasan Juma Backer Trading & Contracting Co Llc In Oman. We are located right here in Malviya Nagar at Mr. Anil Pareek’s place. It’s more of a coordination spot for the work happening over in Oman. Since the office is in D-201, it feels more like a home workspace than a big corporate building. There are plenty of folders and binders everywhere because we have to keep track of a lot of overseas paperwork. The fans are usually running all day because Jaipur gets so warm in the summer. We spend most of our time communicating back and forth between India and the Middle East. It can be a bit tricky with the time zones, but we’ve gotten used to the odd hours. Sometimes people drop by thinking we are a local shop, but we have to explain we mostly handle the administrative side for the contracting business. The street outside is usually busy with cars and people going to the market. Slick brochures or high-tech screens are not found on our walls. It’s just a couple of desks, a printer that jams occasionally, and a lot of phone calls. We try to keep things moving so the projects abroad don’t get stuck. It’s a bit of a niche setup, but it works for what we need to do every day. We usually finish up by six.
