We've been at D-147 in Parivahan Nagar for a while now. Khatipura is a busy spot in Jaipur and our place is right in the middle of all that noise and dust. Some days the sun is really beating down on the roof but we just keep at it. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a work space where we handle things. People come and go through the gate all day. We have a few desks and some old fans that make way too much noise when they’re on high. It gets dusty quick being near the main road so we’re always wiping things down. My cousin helped set some of this up years back. We aren't trying to be the biggest around here, just keeping the lights on and doing the work that comes our way. Sometimes the tea guy from down the street forgets our order, but that’s just how it goes in this part of town. You get used to the sounds of the trucks passing by. It's a lot of hours but it's what we know. Jaipur is growing fast and everything around Khatipura feels like it's changing every month, though our little corner stays pretty much the same. We just show up, do the day's tasks, and head home when the sun sets. It is a simple setup for simple work and we don't think much about it beyond that. Every day is just about making sure things are done.
