This branch of Gujarat Ambuja Cements Liimited is tucked away in Bhaskar Apartment in Vaishali Nagar. If you know Jaipur, you know Mahadev Nagar is a fairly decent area but it gets quite crowded during the peak hours. We operate out of unit S-4. It is more of a home-style office than a big glass building. We have been here for a bit, handling the cement side of things for the Rajasthan region. Jaipur can get incredibly hot, so we spend a lot of time just trying to stay cool while sorting out the delivery schedules. The apartment isn't huge, but it fits the few of us who work here. We spend our mornings checking the stock lists and making sure the trucks are headed to the right construction sites. Most of the people living in the building are used to seeing us by now. It is a quiet street usually, except when the school buses are out. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. Just a simple place where the work gets done without much fuss. We mostly deal with local contractors and people who have been in the trade for years. It’s about keeping the flow of cement steady. There’s always someone coming in with a query or a bit of paperwork to sign. We just keep the files organized and make sure the phone gets answered daily.
