G.R. Traders

Our office is in the City Centre building, specifically at B-3A on S.C. Road. It is right in the middle of everything, so there is never a quiet moment. We have been here for a few years now, and the building has seen a lot of changes. We handle a variety of trading goods, so our storage area is usually packed with boxes of all shapes and sizes. Sometimes it is hard to find a place to sit because there is so much coming in and out. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing down numbers in our ledgers. It is a small team, just a few of us who have worked together for a long time. We know each other’s habits pretty well. The tea man comes by twice a day, and that is usually when we take a quick breather. S.C. Road is always jammed with traffic, so we hear the honking all day long. It is just the background noise of our work life. We do not bother with fancy carpets or expensive furniture. We just have what we need to get the trading done. It is a simple way to make a living, and we enjoy being in the thick of the city’s commerce. People drop in all the time to check on orders or just to say hello. It keeps the day interesting and makes the time go by faster.
