This practice has been at 239 Tripolia Bazar for a long time. It’s right in the middle of the market, so there is always noise and people walking by the door. Govind Sahai Sharma runs things here. The space isn't very large, but it serves the purpose for everyone who comes in from the neighborhood. We see all kinds of people every day. Some are just passing through the bazaar and others have been coming to see the doctor for years. The walls have seen a lot of history. There are old wooden chairs in the waiting area and sometimes it gets a bit crowded. We don't really use any complicated systems here. It's mostly just writing things down in ledgers and talking to patients face to face. The fan hums overhead and you can hear the rickshaws outside. It gets hot in the afternoons, but the thick walls of the old building help a bit. People know they can find us here during the regular hours. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s a local clinic in a busy part of town. Sometimes the tea stall next door brings over a cup while we wait for the next person to walk in. We just handle the daily check-ups and whatever health issues the locals bring to us. It is a simple routine that hasn't changed much over the years, and that seems to suit everyone just fine.
