The Timber House

The Timber House is located over in the Gopalpura area. If you come by to see us, you will likely smell the cut wood long before you actually see our sign. We have stacks of planks and big logs all over the place. It is a bit of a maze sometimes if you do not know your way around the yard. We spend most of our time cutting wood to size or moving heavy pieces around using the old trolley. It is very dusty work, so we never wear anything fancy. We just have on old clothes that can get covered in sawdust and sap. We are not a big factory with machines doing everything. It is just a few of us working with our hands. Sometimes the saw needs sharpening or the delivery truck is running late, and we just have to figure out a way to fix it. We do not have a big sales team or anyone in suits. You just talk to whoever is working near the front of the yard. We like the feel of the wood and seeing the things people end up making with it. Gopalpura is a good place for us because there is enough space to keep all the inventory. It is not a shiny showroom. It is a real working yard. We have some regulars who have been buying from us since we first started.
