Goa Kajuwala

Goa Kajuwala is out in Vaishali Nagar on Gautam Marg, specifically at F-21. This area is a bit newer and cleaner than the old city, but we still keep things pretty simple inside the shop. We deal with cashews and other dry items, so the whole place usually smells a bit like roasted nuts and plastic packaging. We have some shelves lined up against the walls and a counter where we weigh everything out on an old digital scale that sometimes acts up. It is not a massive showroom, just a clean space where we can get the work done. People from the neighborhood stop by on their way home from work to pick up a few bags. We spend a lot of time sitting behind the counter, watching the cars go by on Gautam Marg. The afternoon sun hits the front window pretty hard, so we usually have to pull the shade down halfway to keep the place from overheating. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. It is a quiet kind of business compared to the busy markets downtown. We keep the inventory tidy and make sure everything is labeled correctly with a marker. It is a decent, steady way to spend the day, and we like the pace of this part of town.
