Our workshop, Glazetech Industries Pvt. Ltd., is located at E-703 (A) in the Sitapura Industrial Area. It’s a large plot, but we use every inch of it for our production and storage. We work on things related to glazing and industrial finishes. The floor is usually covered in fine dust or metal shavings depending on what we are processing that day. It’s a noisy environment with the sound of grinders and polishers going all the time. We wear earplugs, but you still feel the vibration in your feet. Our team is a mix of experienced hands and a few younger guys learning the trade. We don't have a big HR department or a fancy lobby. If you come to see us, you’ll probably find us in the back checking the quality of a finished piece. Sitapura is a huge place, so it’s easy to get lost, but we’ve been at this spot long enough that most delivery drivers know us. We keep a log of all the material that enters the gate. It’s a bit tedious, but it saves us from arguments later. Sitapura gets very crowded during shift changes. We just try to keep our corner of the industrial area clean and productive. There are no fancy titles here; everyone just pitches in. The summers are the hardest because the metal roof picks up all the heat. We drink a lot of water and try to get the heavy work done early in the morning. It’s not a glamorous job. We just take the orders and do the work.
