Girdhar Rathi

This is the place for Girdhar Rathi. We are located right outside Jassusar Gate in Bikaner. If you are from around here, you know how busy that gate area gets with all the people coming and going from the old city. It is a very Rajasthan kind of spot. My father is Sh. Rajkumar Rathi, and we have been handling things from this location for quite some time now. Girdhar Kumar Rathi is the name you’ll see on the papers. Bikaner is a place where everyone kind of knows everyone, especially near the main gates. Our setup isn't anything corporate or fancy. It is just us and the family name on the door. The walls are a bit old and the desert heat really gets in during the summer months, so we keep the fans running all day long. Sometimes the dust from the road blows in when the wind picks up. It's just a simple room where we sit and do our business. You won't find any marble floors or big reception desks here. Just some registers, a few chairs, and the sound of the city right outside the door. We usually start early before the sun gets too hot. It is a quiet kind of work most days, despite the noise from the traffic near the gate. We are just local people doing what we do in this part of Rajasthan. If you come by, you’ll see us just past the gate area near the old city entrance.
