Gilt Edge Architects

Gilt Edge Architects is tucked away at D-8 in the Kalwar Scheme over in Gopal Bari. Being near the railway station means there is always a bit of a buzz nearby. We’ve been in this spot for a while. The office isn’t huge, but it fits what we need. We have a few desks and a shelf full of old project folders that we probably should have archived years ago. It feels like a real workspace, not a showroom. We spend our time drawing up plans and talking to folks about what they want to build. Sometimes the trains are loud, but we don't even notice it anymore. We are just a small team. We don't have a lot of rules about how things have to look in the office. If the desk is messy, it’s because we’re working. We take our work seriously, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. Usually, one of us is out checking on a building site while the others stay back to handle the paperwork. It’s a lot of everyday stuff, really. We’ve known some of our clients for a long time. They just stop by when they have a question. We like being in Gopal Bari. It feels like we are right in the middle of things. We just keep doing what we do, one day at a time, making sure the designs are ready when they need to be.
