Gems Handicraft

Gems Handicraft is located at No. 1, Puran Daregi ka Bagh. We are right near the post office on Moti Dungri Road. It’s an old part of the area and the streets are quite narrow and winding. You have to know where you’re going to find us. Being near the post office is handy for the mail we send out. Moti Dungri Road is always full of life, with bikes and rickshaws zipping past constantly. Our workshop is tucked away in the bagh area. It’s an old building with character, and maybe a bit of damp in the corners when it rains. Tools and benches are set up where we spend most of our hours. Gems Handicraft isn't a fancy brand, it’s just us working with our hands. Light inside isn’t always the best, so we use some extra lamps over the work areas. Getting everything sorted can be a bit of a climb. We’ve been at this spot for years and the locals all know where No. 1 is. Noise from the street is something we are used to by now. No big sign or anything flashy exists here. Just a door that stays open during the day. It’s a small, honest operation in a very busy part of town. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when the sun is out. Sometimes we sit on the steps to have our lunch.
