We've been here on M I Road for a while now. It's number 9 if you're looking for us. Most days it's just a lot of drawing and checking over plans to make sure everything lines up. We do both the architecture and the engineering side of things, so the desks are usually covered in blueprints and site notes. Being right here in the middle of things means it gets a bit noisy outside, but we like it. It's a small team, nothing fancy. We spend our mornings going through emails and then usually spend the afternoon looking at structural details or sketching out new ideas. People drop by sometimes to talk about their house plans or a shop renovation. It’s not always glamorous work, mostly just making sure the math works and the walls stay where they should. Sometimes we have to go out to sites to check on progress, but you’ll mostly find us at our desks here. We've got a routine that works for us, and we try to keep things straightforward with everyone who comes in. There’s no big reception desk or anything, just us and our computers and a lot of coffee. We just try to get the drawings right and help folks get their buildings up. It’s been our home base for years and we know the area well. It might not look like much from the outside, but we get the work done and keep moving onto the next project.
