Sai Jayotish Kendra

Sai Jayotish Kendra is located in Ganga Nagar, and it’s a fairly quiet place most of the time. We don’t have a big neon sign or anything like that. People usually find out about us from their friends or neighbors. The room where we sit is small and we try to keep it calm, away from the noise of the main road. I spend a lot of my time looking at birth charts and trying to explain things to people who come in with worries about their jobs or families. There’s usually some incense burning, and we have a few chairs for people to wait their turn. It’s not a business with a lot of complicated equipment. It’s mostly just talking and listening. Some days are busier than others, especially around festival times when everyone wants to know what the future looks like for them. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The walls have a few pictures on them, and the furniture is old but comfortable. Ganga Nagar is a nice area, and being based here feels right for the kind of work we do. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just helping the people who walk through our door with whatever is on their minds. It’s a slow pace of life here, and we prefer it that way. We stay open until late evening because that’s when most people are free to visit after their work.
