Ganesham Jewellers

Our shop is located at 81 Govind Nagar East, right off Amer Road. It’s a busy area, especially with all the people heading towards the fort and back. Ganesham Jewellers started out quite small, and honestly, we’re still not a huge place. We have a few counters and some chairs for people to sit while they look at stuff. The morning starts with opening the shutters and dusting off the displays because the road gets quite dusty. We handle a lot of traditional pieces, the kind of things people around here like for weddings and festivals. It isn’t always easy work, sitting and looking at small details for hours, but it’s what we know. Sometimes we have tea with the neighbors while waiting for customers. It feels like a small community here even though the main road is so loud. We don't spend money on big signs or glossy brochures. Most of our work comes from families who have been coming to this part of Govind Nagar for years. We just try to be honest about what we have on the shelf. If something isn't in stock, we tell them. There’s no point in making things sound better than they are. We just keep the shop open, wait for the regulars, and do the work that needs doing. It’s a simple life and we’re quite alright with that.
