Gammon Limak Consortium (Pipelie Division)

Our office is over at 1 Kale Layout on Wadgaon Road in Yavatmal. We’re right near the Pawar Classes, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us. This branch is the Gammon Limak Consortium, specifically the Pipeline Division. As you can imagine, our work is very specific. We spend a lot of our time looking at maps of underground routes and dealing with pipes and heavy digging equipment. The office isn't very large, but it serves its purpose. It’s where we handle the scheduling and the local hiring. There’s usually a lot of mud on the floor because we’re always coming back from the field. We don't have a corporate communications team writing things for us. We’re just a bunch of engineers and site workers. Sometimes the work is slow because of land issues or equipment trouble, but we just keep at it. The atmosphere here is pretty relaxed but focused. We know what we have to do and we get it done. No one wears a tie in this office unless they absolutely have to. We prefer being out where the actual work is happening. If you need to talk to someone about the pipeline, you just walk in and ask. We don’t go in for big mission statements or anything like that. We just lay the pipes and move on to the next section of Wadgaon Road.
