Gail(India) Limited

Out in Village Jatoli Ghana, life moves at its own pace. We are located near Post Barso, in the Bharatpur district of Rajasthan. Gail(India) Limited has its operations here, but it does not feel like a big corporate office. It is more like a functional site where we keep an eye on things. The road getting here is a bit rough, especially after the rains. You see a lot of green fields around us, and the air is much clearer than in the cities. We have a small crew. Most of the guys live in the nearby villages and ride their bikes to work. The building is a bit old, and the paint is peeling in some corners. We do not really mind. Inside, there are some desks and lockers. We spend a lot of time outside checking the equipment. In the summer, it gets incredibly hot, and the wind blows a lot of sand around. We keep a big earthen pot for cold water, which is better than any fridge. We eat our lunch together under the shade of a tree if the weather allows. There is not a lot of noise here, except for the occasional tractor passing by. We do our daily checks and fill out the reports. It is quiet work, but it is important. We have been here for years, and we know every inch of the place. We just keep things running smoothly without making any big fuss about it.
