I’m located at S 6 on Tonk Road. Anyone who spends time in this city knows that Tonk Road is one of the main veins of the place, so it’s always busy and there is always something going on right outside my door. The office is a small suite that I’ve occupied for several years. It’s got a bit of a worn-in feel, with some scuffs on the walls and chairs that have seen better days, but it’s a functional space where I can get my work done without being disturbed too much by the outside world. I usually spend my mornings catching up on emails and the rest of the day is often spent in meetings or handling specific project details that require my attention. Since I’m right on the main road, I get a fair amount of noise from the buses and cars, but you eventually just stop hearing it after a while. I don’t have a big team behind me, so I’m the one who answers the door and makes sure all the bills get paid on time. It’s a lot of responsibility, but I prefer it that way because I know exactly what’s happening with every part of the business at any given time. I don't use any fancy management software or anything like that; I mostly just use a notebook and my computer to keep track of everything I need to do. It’s just me here, working through the daily grind and trying to make sure everything is handled properly before I head home.
