G. M. Jewellers

Our shop, G. M. Jewellers, is located at 43, Ramganj Bazar. If you know the bazar, you know how hectic it can be with all the vendors and the shoppers pushing through the narrow lanes. We have a very small storefront, and most people would probably walk right past it if they were not looking closely. Inside, it is a bit quieter, but you can still hear the noise from the street. We have a small workbench in the back where we do all the repairs and the detailed work on different pieces of jewelry. It requires a lot of sitting still and using small magnifying glasses, which can be quite tiring for the eyes after a few hours. We have been in this same spot for years, and we know most of the other shopkeepers around us. We do not have any big flashy signs or modern furniture. The display cases are old and have a few scratches on the glass, but they serve their purpose well enough. Most of our day is spent talking to people who bring in things to be fixed or want something simple made for a special occasion. We do not do any big marketing or have a website. We just rely on the fact that we have been here a long time and people in the bazar know where to find us. It is a steady life and we are happy to just keep things running as they are.
