We are over at 68, Jalvayu Vihar in the Sector-7 area of Vidyadhar Nagar. Fosroc Chemicals (India) Pvt. Ltd. is our name. Jaipur is a beautiful place but it gets incredibly hot, so we usually have the coolers running full blast in the office. This location is more of a residential-style setup which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than a downtown office. We handle the chemical supplies for this region. Most of our day is spent talking to contractors and checking our stock levels. It’s not a glamorous job. There is a lot of dust that comes in from the street, and we are constantly wiping down the desks. We have a lot of files stacked up because we still like to keep paper records of everything. It’s easier that way. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, so we just sit and wait or do what we can by hand. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure our customers in Jaipur get their chemicals when they need them. The people who work here live nearby mostly. We know the local shops and where to get the best lunch. It’s a practical way to run things. We don’t use fancy titles or have big meetings. We just look at the orders and get the work finished before the sun goes down and we head home.
