Fine Marble & Minerals (P) Ltd. is located at B-49 in the Lal Kothi Scheme on Sahkar Marg. It’s an area that has changed a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed pretty much the same. Our work involves a lot of stone and mineral samples, so the office usually has bits of rock and dust here and there. It’s not a place where you’d want to wear your best clothes. We deal with marble slabs and various mineral products that come in from different quarries. It’s heavy, physical work and it can get quite messy. The office at B-49 is where we handle the administrative side of things. It’s a simple space with some old wooden desks and filing cabinets that have seen better days. Sahkar Marg is a busy road, so there is always the sound of cars passing by. We aren't a huge corporation with departments for everything. Usually, it’s just a few of us wearing multiple hats to make sure the orders are processed and the trucks are loaded. We don't use any fancy sales pitches. We just show people the stones we have and let them decide. It’s a straightforward way of doing things. The weather gets really hot here, and the stone holds the heat, so the afternoons can be a bit slow. But we just keep at it and make sure the business stays moving forward.
