Our office for Fairmont Impex Llp is over in Ambabari at Plot No. A 24. Ambabari is one of those older, more settled parts of Jaipur, so it’s got a bit of a different feel than the newer industrial zones. We deal with imports and exports, which basically means our day is a never-ending cycle of emails, phone calls, and tracking numbers. The building is a regular plot turned into a workspace. It’s not flashy. We have some storage space for samples, but mostly it’s about the paperwork. You’ll find folders stacked up on every available surface. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work through the morning tasks. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which is nice when you’re trying to concentrate on customs regulations or shipping manifests. We aren't a huge corporation; we're just a small team trying to keep everything moving smoothly. Sometimes a shipment gets delayed at the port, and those are the days when things get a bit stressful around here. We drink a lot of coffee and tea to stay sharp. We’ve been in this Ambabari spot for a while, and we know the local chai wala and the postman pretty well. It’s a routine life, but it keeps the business going. We don’t bother with big marketing campaigns; we just focus on making sure the goods get from point A to point B.
