Eye View Centre

If you're driving down Tonk Road, you can find us at B 15. Eye View Centre is just a place where we look at eyes all day. It's nothing special to look at from the outside, but we have what we need inside to help people see a bit better. Mostly, it's just neighbors coming in because they've been squinting at their phones or the newspaper too much lately. We have the usual machines for testing vision and a selection of frames that aren't too flashy but do the job well enough. Sometimes the waiting area gets a bit cramped when three families show up at once, but we manage. My colleague usually handles the front desk and I do the testing. We’ve seen all sorts of eye problems over the years here. Some folks are worried about getting older and their sight fading, so we just explain what's happening without using big medical words they won't understand. It’s better that way. We keep things simple. If your glasses are crooked, we can usually bend them back into shape for you. The traffic on Tonk Road can be a nightmare in the afternoons, so most people try to come in early. We’ve been at this location for a decent amount of time now, so people know where to find us. It's just a regular part of the street. No big bells or whistles here, just eye care for the local crowd.
