We are based over in the Gangapole area of Jaipur at H.No.-3, which is part of the Chomu House Ki Haveli. It is a very old building with a lot of character, and we have been using it for our flooring business for a long time. The space is pretty packed with different kinds of tiles, stone samples, and wood planks. It can get a bit dusty because of all the stone cutting we sometimes have to do nearby. We don't really have a polished showroom like the ones you might see in the newer parts of the city. Most people who come to see us are looking for practical advice on what kind of floor will last the longest in their house. We spend a lot of time visiting sites to measure things out and make sure the subfloors are level. Our crew is just a handful of guys who are good with their hands. We don't do any big advertising or marketing. Most of our customers come to us because their neighbor or a relative told them we do a decent job for a fair price. The lanes around Gangapole are quite narrow, so getting the delivery trucks in can be a real headache sometimes. We usually have to unload everything by hand and carry it in. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy and we like being part of this old neighborhood. We’ve been here so long that we know most of the people on this street by their first names.
