Our place is over in the VKI Area on Road No. 9-F. If you know that part of town, you know it gets pretty dusty and busy with trucks going in and out all the time. We are at S-758, which is basically two units joined together. Having that much room is helpful for the machinery and the stuff we store. Most of the guys here live close by, so we start early before the sun gets too high. The office part is just a few desks tucked away in the corner where we handle the paperwork and phone calls. It’s nothing special to look at, just a lot of metal and concrete. Years have passed since we first set up in this spot, and the neighbors have changed quite a bit. There is always someone coming by to pick something up or drop off supplies. We don't really do much advertising because people around here already know where we are. Usually, the radio is playing somewhere in the back to keep things from being too quiet while we work. Lunchtime is when everyone sits down for a bit before getting back to the floor. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of inventory. No big fancy slogans are used here. We just show up, do the work that needs doing, and head home when the shutters go down for the night.
