Electrosteel Castings Ltd

This is the Kota branch for Electrosteel Castings Ltd, situated at 1-B-5 Vigyan Nagar. Being in Rajasthan is a whole different world compared to our roots in Kolkata. Vigyan Nagar is a very famous area here because of all the students and the coaching centers, so there is always a young energy around the streets, especially in the evenings. It gets incredibly hot here in the summer, way more than what we are used to back in the east. Our office is a practical space where we manage the local requirements and keep an eye on the supply chain. We don't have any flashy signs or anything. It is just a plain door with the company name on it. Inside, it's mostly just me and a couple of others handling the phones and the computer work. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside when it's windy, so we are always cleaning the desks. I usually grab a kachori from the vendor at the corner for breakfast. It’s a staple here in Kota and very spicy. The work itself involves a lot of checking on the castings and making sure the clients in this region get what they need. We aren't a big team here, so everyone does a bit of everything. From answering the door to filing the tax papers, it all happens in this one room. It’s a busy life, but we like it that way. Anyway, that is what we are up to.
