We are based at 690, Shanti Nagar, which is in the Durga Pura area. Our office is just a simple ground-floor room that we have lived and worked out of for a good number of years. It is a fairly quiet street, though you get the occasional vendor shouting his wares or kids playing cricket nearby. The office itself is nothing special to look at. We have a few mismatched chairs and a table where we spread out our maps and documents. Most of the walls are covered with old calendars and a few photos of the local area from years ago. We handle residential properties around Durga Pura, mostly helping folks find a decent house or a small plot to build on. It is a small team, mainly just family members, so there is no corporate feel at all. We often sit outside on the porch when the weather is nice to talk to the neighbors or wait for clients. The tea shop around the corner brings us snacks in the afternoon, which is a nice routine we have. We do not have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we have been here so long and people know where to find us. It is a slow and steady kind of business, and we like it that way.
