Our office for Dhruv Stones Pvt Ltd is tucked away in Malviya Nagar, specifically at 34 22. It is a place where we deal with a lot of heavy material, mostly different types of stone slabs. The yard can get quite loud when the cutting or polishing is happening, and there is always that fine grit in the air that comes from working with rock. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who come in looking for something specific for their building projects. Malviya Nagar is a crowded area, so managing the space for the big slabs can be a real puzzle sometimes. We have to be careful when moving the stock because one wrong move and a whole piece is ruined. Our workspace is pretty basic, with just enough room for the desk and some samples of the stones we carry. We don't do much in the way of decoration ourselves because the stone is the main thing people are here to see. Every day is a mix of checking the quality of the slabs and making sure the loaders know which pieces are going where. It’s a physical business that requires some muscle and a lot of patience. We just stay focused on the work at hand and try to keep the yard organized despite the constant movement of heavy materials.
