Design Square

Our place is over at 742 A in Devi Nagar here in Jaipur. It is a decent neighborhood, not too loud most of the time, which is good when we are trying to concentrate on our drawings. We have been in this spot for a while now and the locals know us pretty well. The office is just a simple room with a few large tables and plenty of chairs that don't always match. We don't really care much about having a polished look because we are usually too busy working on projects. There are always rolls of paper and different color swatches scattered around. Sometimes we forget to tidy up for a few days when a deadline is coming up. We like the light that comes through the windows in the afternoon. It's just a small group of us trying to get things done without making a big fuss about it. We don't do any of that fancy marketing stuff. Most people just hear about us from a neighbor or see our sign when they are passing through Devi Nagar. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and checking on how things are going at the different sites. It can be a bit stressful when materials don't show up on time, but we just deal with it as it comes. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to do a solid job on the work we have in front of us today.
