Design Scale Interiors

Our office is tucked away in Center Tower at Vidhyadhar Nagar. We are in B-30 on the Central Spine, not too far from Big Cinema. If you’ve ever been to this part of Jaipur, you know it gets quite crowded with shoppers and traffic. At Design Scale Interiors, we spend most of our time looking at floor plans and picking out colors that don't clash too much. It’s not a huge office, but we have enough room for our samples and a couple of large tables to spread out our drawings. We started out small and we’ve mostly stayed that way because it’s easier to manage things ourselves. We don't use many big words to describe what we do. Basically, if a room looks empty or messy, we figure out how to put furniture and stuff in it so it looks better. Sometimes we spend all day at a site getting dusty and then come back here to finish the paperwork. Jaipur is a beautiful city but it has its challenges with old buildings and narrow spaces. We’ve learned to work around those things over the years. We aren't trying to change the world, we just want to make sure the cupboards and walls we work on turn out okay for the people who live there. It's a lot of measuring and re-measuring to be honest. That's the main part of the job and we are fine with that.
