Deepak Usha Hospital

Deepak Usha Hospital is located right in the Durgapura Income Tax Colony area, postcode 302018. It is a neighborhood that has grown a lot over the years, and we have grown right along with it. The hospital isn't one of those massive glass buildings you see in the movies; it is more of a practical place built for the people living nearby. We have different wings and floors, and there is always the sound of footsteps in the hallways. The air smells like cleaning fluid most of the time, which I guess is a good thing. I have been working here for a long time, and I have seen many families come through these doors. Sometimes the waiting room gets really crowded, especially on Monday mornings when everyone seems to have something wrong at once. We have some old plastic chairs and a television that usually plays the news at a low volume. The nurses are always moving fast, and the doctors are usually tucked away in their offices or checking on people in the wards. It is a bit of a maze if you aren't familiar with it, but the locals know their way around the Income Tax Colony well enough. We have a small canteen where the tea is actually pretty decent, and that is where most of us spend our breaks. It is a busy, tiring place to work, but it is important for the folks in Durgapura. We just keep the lights on and the doors open.
