In Kota, we are located at House No. 4-Q-10 in the Talwandi area. Dcm Shriram Consolidated Ltd has been a part of this community for quite a bit. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it’s much quieter than being in the middle of a commercial district. The house has been converted for our needs. We use the main rooms for our desks and the back area for storage. It feels a bit like working from home, but we’re all here together. The Rajasthan heat can be something else, so we keep the coolers running pretty much all day in the summer. We spend most of our time dealing with local accounts and keeping things organized. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find people in suits and ties. We’re more likely to be in comfortable clothes just trying to stay cool and get the work finished. We have a small courtyard where we sometimes sit for a bit in the morning. It’s a simple operation. We don’t have a website that’s constantly updated or a big marketing push. Most people know us just from being around for so long. We just handle the day-to-day business as it comes, making sure everything is in order before we close up for the evening. Sometimes the neighbor’s cat comes by the window and looks at us.
