Dancezone

Over here at D-235A on Amarpali Marg, things stay pretty busy. We are right in the middle of Vaishali Nagar, so there is always some traffic noise coming in from the street. The studio itself isn't massive, but we make it work for the groups that come in. Most mornings start with just opening the shutters and getting the dust off the floor before the first set of people shows up. It’s a simple setup. We’ve got the fans going most of the day because it gets warm with everyone moving around at once. Sometimes the music from the shop next door competes with ours, but we just turn our speakers up a notch. We spend a lot of time just organizing the schedule and making sure there’s enough space for everyone to stretch out. It’s a local spot where people from the neighborhood drop by after school or work. We don’t have a big reception desk or anything like that; usually, one of us is just sitting by the door with a notebook. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the mirrors are clean and that’s what matters most for the practice. It’s just a place to come and get some steps in without worrying about looking perfect. We’ve been at this location for a bit now and know most of the shopkeepers on the block.
