Crossland Industries (100%Export Oriented Unit)

Crossland Industries is located at C-57 on Road No. 5 in the Vishwakarma Industrial Area. We are what they call a 100% Export Oriented Unit, which basically means most of what we make here gets put on a ship and sent somewhere else. The factory floor is always loud with machines running and people moving parts around. It is a big shed with a lot of activity from sunrise to sunset. We spend most of our time making sure the production line is moving and that the packing crates are ready. Since we send things abroad, there is a lot of focus on the details of the items before they go into the boxes. It’s not a glamorous job. It’s dusty, noisy, and usually pretty warm inside the building. We have a small office area where we handle the shipping documents, but most of us are out on the floor. Road No. 5 stays busy with delivery trucks, so getting things in and out can be a bit of a squeeze sometimes. We have a steady crew of workers who have been with us through the years. We don't do a lot of advertising because our work is already spoken for by the people we ship to. We just focus on getting the daily quota done and making sure the trucks are loaded on time. It’s just regular factory work in a busy industrial zone.
